Description

I found these onions drying inside an old shed at King's Landing, New Brunswick, Canada. I liked the contrast between the weathered wood and the smooth surface of the onions. The roots and dried leaves were an exciting addition. My second egg tempera painting.

Titles are difficult sometimes, but they seem important in the process of creating art. Wouldn't it be more simple to just name our work..."Painting 1" or "Painting 3,473". Perhaps "Passing Time" would have been better...but I had already used it on another painting. :-)
