"Where the locals have been going since 1975." Richardo's Mexican Restaurant in Tulsa, OK continues to prove their original slogan since they opened that year. One of our favorites! The chili rellenos are the best we have found, their menu offers such a variety...all delicious.selections.
Recently during one lunch period, I noticed this gentleman across the room, alone with his lunch, enjoying a rest perhaps from his yard work up the block. I love the hat, it has character! I was also taken with the composition, the close pallet of color and that massive area of sheer blackness that encased the tin light fixture. I was reminded of Edward Hopper's "Automat." A black sombrero rested on a table in the background. After I included it, I decided it was too trite, too much information, it left, the title of the painting says it all.
