Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

Jan Reynolds-Miles sent my cousin Cathy Treloggen a photo of her brother. Cathy commissioned me to paint a watercolor of the photograph as a gift for her friend Jan.
Jan wrote: This is my brother Denis Ray Reynolds 1947-2017. He started a group in 2007 on Eons and made up a town called Buncleville. People called him Buncle, the name of town was a natural. People joined and we had fun making up a fake town. We became exceptionally good friends online even though we never met one of them. But Ray wanted to, so we set up a time, date, and place. Melvern Lake, Ks was chosen for our meeting and camp out. Folks came from Canada, California, Florida, Texas, North Carolina, and all over Kansas. We became an instant family of friends. We met about every 3 years and once for Thanksgiving. This photo was taken by a lady in the group, another person Photoshopped the photo to include the mirrored image. Ray did not want to get old…he loved life. This is Ray, seated, looking at an image...

About Monte Toon

Monte Toon

In 1969, Monte Toon began his career as a watercolorist. He credits the late Charles Sanderson of Wichita, Kansas, with setting him on his life-long path of watercolor painting. Sanderson inspired new approaches and techniques. Later, the works of Winslow Homer, Andrew Wyeth and Edward Hopper would influence Toon's work. More than 54 years experience has defined Toon's style in his exclusive use of watercolor. In 1991, a turning point occurred in Toon's work. Travels in Canada, New England and the east coast broadened his range of subject matter. By setting goals and directions of purpose, Monte enhanced and elevated his works to new heights resulting in numerous solo shows of merit. He refers to this change as a re-dedication to...
