Description
In 1985 we spent our Thanksgiving holiday on the Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas. The next evening was their Christmas Parade. The "floats" were just that, boats filled with all the trappings of the holiday celebration, floating along the length of the river. Lights hung in the trees lining the river, so high up I thought they must have used a helicopter to put them there. What a pleasant, relaxing place to pass some idle time with friends and family. Looking at this painting makes me want to return there...soon.
