An Eagle is in flight near the flowering bushes, enhancing the sense of a peaceful, natural scene. A commissioned painting for our traveling friends, this painting will be displayed in their RV for all the many miles ahead. The reference photo is from their home area. Very fitting for them, it shows an open road, stretching off to the distant mountains and the adventures beyond. The eagle landing in a nearby tree indicates a "home-base," an arrival from its recent journeys.
