Description
A stream north of Hyder, Alaska has a viewing area built over it to watch spawning salmon along with a bear now and then having lunch, in the stream. The bridge is elevated for safety, allowing viewers to watch the commotion below. However, turning around 180 degrees, I found this view, a tranquil little cove of quiet solitude and mystery. I was amazed at the contrast of the two views, how much opposite they were just by turning ones self around. A lesson to be learned here? This is my first attempt at painting mist, a bit of a challenge, but a great learning experience.
